08 October 2011: CK vs Worthys (Development League)
Lucy Ladd captained the the side and was involved in almost every move in midfield. Lots of effort to keep a good shape and pass the ball paid dividends with Jamie Ross getting on the end of some cool passing to score twice and then add two more in the first half after great solo play. Lucy Ladd continued with some fine tackles in the second half and went close to scoring as CK dominated the game. Substitute Harvey Wake, recovered from a first game injury and played some confident football, finding the net twice. Ben Cousins made some important interceptions, Kial Mumford looked solid in goal, Harry Baker made some impressive runs forward from defence and Jake Bradbury was desperately unlucky not to find the net after finding himself on the end of some clever passing in the box. Man of the Match was four goal Jamie Ross. An all round terrific display from the team. A good day........two games, two wins.

01 October 2011: Bishops Waltham Dynamos vs CK
Our third straight away fixture took us to Bishops Waltham, previously unbeaten this season. A fantastic game of youth football, skilful passing, committed tackling with both teams eager to steal all three points. From kick off possession was fairly even, Harvey Wake looking every inch the skipper, calmly in control at the back repeatedly setting up CK attacks. Some neat exchanges between Kai Henderson and Kial Mumford allowed Joe Brown to slot home his first as CK took the lead midway through the first half. Dynamos continued to press for an equaliser and a stunning long range effort brought them level just before the break.
Despite the heat, both teams went for the win with sharp passing and quality defending. Midway through the half, Joe Brown latched onto a Harvey Wake pass to grab his second, leaving the keeper with little chance. Dynamos continued to attack looking for an equaliser and despite the evenly matched sides, CK created two further goalscoring chances which fell to Kial Mumford and Joe Brown only to be denied by some calm goalkeeping. The game finished 2-1, CKs first win of the season in the League. Harvey Mcleen looked very confident in goal but Man of the Match went to Harvey Wake, outstanding today!! Well done boys.....onwards and upwards!

01 October 2011: Bishops Waltham Dynamos vs CK (Development League)
Ben Cousins took the Captains armband in central midfield and despite missing some regulars the team competed well for much of the first half. After losing our shape on several occasions, Dynamos went into the break with a 3 nil lead, Harry Baker making the most of the CK openings but failing to find the net. Lucy Ladd and Ben Cousins battled hard against a very strong team and Justin Fryatt finished well coming on as substitute midway through the second half. By then Dynamos had secured the points with several more goals, CK again failing to close down quick enough. The game ended 8-1 to Dynamos. Harvey Mcleen took Man of the Match after endless running, well timed tackling and thoughtful distribution from the back. Despite the scoreline, Ben Hewlett performed well with some great kicks out.

24 September 2011: Tidworth Gunners vs CK
Thanks to Lee Henderson for organising the boys in my absence. Reports suggest that we're not sure how we lost this one!! 15 corners, hitting the post 3 times and countless efforts on goal might suggest this should have been our day. Some very slick finishing from Tidworth enabled them to benefit from fewer chances and we ran out 3-1 losers, our third defeat in a row. Joe Brown finished well for CKs solitary goal and a new formation showing some promise against a well organised Gunners. Man of the Match was Joe Brown for tireless work up front and putting himself in some good positions only to be denied by some super goalkeeping from Tidworths man between the sticks. Ck continued to play some clever passing football despite confidence being dented by a tough start to the season. Heads up guys!!!

24 September 2011: Tidworth Gunners vs CK (Development League)
News broke in the early hours in Las Vegas that Sam McReedy had opened this seasons account with a moment of magic. A great goal kick from Kial Mumford saw Sam score with a single touch, cooly directing the ball past the keeper. Crowd erupted, big smiles all round, well done Sam!!! Lucy Ladd and Alfie Waters had notable games, with a tremendous work ethic from both players. Alfie was rewarded with a goal later on in the game. A win clearly important for the Gunners saw them replace a number of players from the first game and they eventually went on to secure a 3-2 win. Well done to all the players.

17 September 2011: Barton Stacey vs CK
I was away for this match so many thanks to Lee Henderson for organising the boys. A relatively close game with some excellent football from both sides. Goals for CK came from Kial Mumford and Joe Brown. A terrific display from Man of the Match Justin Fryatt couldn't prevent a strong and organised Barton Stacey from securing a 4-2 win. The team will be working hard to prevent some errors in their defensive game. Two defeats from our first two games isn't the start we had hoped for but the boys are still working hard to play a passing game.
