11 January 2014: Whitcurch 8 vs CK Andover 4
A glorious winter's morning in St Marybourne saw CK take on an in form Whitcurch side.

Whitchurch got off to a great start with 2 early goals and seemed to be running away with the game. A third was added before CK got one back through Harvey Henley.
CK seemed to switch off against their old rivals and found themselves five down at half time.

The second half was a different game for CK and they looked much the better side pulling back a further 3 goals from Layton Tulk, Ben Bushell and a debut goal from Charlie Howe.
However time ran out for CK to make their comeback and and the final whistle saw a 8-4 win for Whitcurch.

14 December 2013: CK Andover 5 vs Barton Stacey 3
Under 12s - CK Andover 5 Barton Stacey 3

A must win game for CK to move them away from the relegation zone saw them take on Barton Stacey at Barrow Hill.

From the whistle CK were on the attack and scored within the first minute of the game through Layton Tulk.
Playing down the slope CK quickly added another two goals from Charlie Sawkins and Harvey Henley and looked like they would run away with the match.
Barton pulled two back on the break but Layton Tulk added his second shortly before half time for a 4-2 mid way lead.

The second half was a very physical and hard fought. End to end breaks followed and Barton had several chances to equalise but just could not seem to find the back of the net.
The pressure was finally relieved for CK when Ben Bushell converted a loose ball to give the home side a 5-3 victory and hard earned 3 points moving them up to sixth in the table.

07 December 2013: CK Andover 0 vs Clarendon 5
Definitely a game of two halves!

CK looking to stem a run of successive home defeats whilst advancing in the League Cup got off to a great start playing some of their best football of the season.
Good passing moves from midfield had the Clarendon defense stuck in their own penalty area for most of the first half - all that was missing was a goal, despite multiple shots on target.

The second half saw a couple of CK changes and a renewed Clarendon effort which yielded a goal on the brake shortly after the kick off.
Despite some brakes from CK themselves they could not find a way through and Clarendon turned up the pressure to run out 5-0 winners and progress to the next round.

The scoreline does not reflect the first half performance which was undoubtedly some of CK's best football of the season so far.

30 November 2013: CK Andover 2 vs Bishops Waltham 4
CK needing a win could not capitalise on a slow start from the visitors, however once Waltham found their stride a flurry of breaks through the middle tested the keeping skills of Ben Malden-Gibbens.

The inevitable goal came mid way through the first half again from a break which opened up the CK defense.
CK showed excellent spirit and soon found themselves level thanks to a fine passing move finished off by Layton Tulk.
Another string of fine saves kept Waltham at bay although CK did concede another to go 2-1 down at half time.

CK wanted to make a fight of this one despite an unfortunate own goal and it was Layton again who found the back of the Waltham net to make it 3-2.
Unlike previous games CK did not give up and could have equalised but for some strong Waltham defending.

Just before full time Waltham added a fourth but CK should be proud of the way they battled to the final whistle.

23 November 2013: CK Andover 2 vs Whitchurch 8
A crisp Saturday morning at Barrow Hill saw CK host arch rivals and top of the table Whitchurch.

A nervous start to the match as both sides seemed to have mutual respect.
Whitchurch made the first impact from a strong run down the center but the lead was short lived as Layton Tulk fired in a great solo effort.
CK conceded a soft second shortly before the break after the defense failed to clear the ball but an evenly contested match at half time.

Down hill in the second half CK could not seem to get a pass through to the forwards and this allowed Whitchurch to hit on the break. Several saves off the line were an indication of the inevitable and Whitchurch's pace and depth in the squad made them clear winners with 6 more goals. Layton Tulk added a second for CK to increase his account for the season.

Joint man of the match goes to Hannah for excellent defending and Olly for acrobatic line clearances and a passionate performance.

16 November 2013: CK Andover 5 vs Fordingbridge Town 2
CK hosting newly promoted Fordingbridge.

CK took the lead through Layton Tulk within minutes of the whistle which seemed to settle the team down.
They played some good passing football for most of the half but conceded a goal from a strong run to go into half time all square.
Playing downhill in the second half and from a good break by Layton, Charly Sawkins poked in second for CK from a couple of yards out.
Fordingbridge never seemed to get into the game despite getting a second goal.
CK added another through Harvey Henley and Layton claimed another two for a great hatrick and 3 well deserved and needed points.
