06 December 2014: Ludgershall 0-3 CK 2R Cup
CKs best performance this season. A re-shaped back line and some sub rotation in midfield paid off today. JJ Chrisp finished neatly within minutes of the start and CK had much of the possession, despite Evan Harkess needing to make some brave stops to keep Ludgershall at bay. Nathan Mitchard and Taylor Anstie looking solid at the back allowed Freddie Horner and Kai Henderson time to push forward creating numerous chances. After the break, CK continued to dominate and frustrate the opposition, Joe Brown adding a fine second goal with a brilliant solo effort from the halfway line, skipping past three players, cutting in and driving the ball in from the narrowest of angles. Freddie Horner ended the contest with a belter of a free kick, guiding it past the wall and into the roof of the net.
This was CKs best performance so far, and demonstrated how good they can be, even against some of the strongest opposition like Ludgershall. Quarter finals here we come, well done lads.

18 October 2014: CK 0-1 Worthys
Nothing between the teams really as both sets of boys dug in for a super physical battle, a scrappy goal for Worthys, deflecting in off a CK defender giving Worthys the three points. Justinhio well worth a mention, 30 minutes played for him but with a terrific impact. He played his way out calmly from the back on numerous occasions and played excellent today. Evan Harkess was unlucky to not keep a clean sheet today, blameless for the goal and pulling off a stunning save from a long range effort in the second half. Skipper Harvey Mclean arrived with a smile and look solid again. First defeat of the season in the League but nothing to be disappointed over, this game could have gone either way and we should be pumped up for the away tie, well done boys.

11 October 2014: CK 1-3 Gosport Youth Hampshire Cup
Gosport just edged it today, deservedly so. They took the lead within minutes with a well worked goal and added a second midway through the second half as CK struggled to settle, largely due to some dogged defending from Gosport and well drilled closing down. Despite Joe Brown (finally) ending his goal drought with a cool finish when one on one with the goalkeeper, CK never really looked like they were troubling Gosport, who added a third as CK pressed for that equaliser. Some good character from the boys second half.

04 October 2014: CK 2-0 Bishops Waltham Dynamos
CK played some of their best football today against the toughest visiting side so far this season. CK vs Bishops Waltham has, over the years, become a fixture to look forward to, always a close affair and normally played in excellent competitive spirit by both sets of boys. No exception today as Dynamos searched for their first win, having lots of possession and goalscoring chances. They went close on several occasions, hitting the crossbar and forcing CK to scramble away twice as the first half finished nil nil. CK's hilight of the first half was JJs solo run, taking on 4 players and narrowly slotting the ball wide.
The second half again saw CK under early pressure but they soon settled. Man of the Match Taylor Anstie linking well with JJ and playing a super pass for JJ to latch onto an slot home the opener. CK maintained that desire to play football but struggled to dominate totally due to a committed Dynamos team. It took a fine looping free kick from Kial Mumford and a spectacular volley from Kai Henderson to make it 2 -0 and effectively ending the contest. Evan Harkess looked solid when called into action, Harvey McLean looked awesome again and Jamie Ross put in an excellent shift at right back in the first half.

27 September 2014: Alderbury FC 0-4 CK
CK played their best possession football so far this season, but missed a seemingly endless number of goalscoring opportunities. Freddie Horner wins team player of the day for taking the gloves as stand-in keeper and did well on the odd occasions he was needed. Top marks to our defenders today. Jamie Ross, Nathan Mitchard and Captain Harvey McLean looked unbreakable for much of the game, only caught ball watching on a few occasions.
JJ Chrisp had another super game, finishing well twice and Kial Mumford impressed agin with a solid midfield display. Man of the Match went to Kai Henderson for a magnificent all round display and giving CK the lead with a great long range effort, the keeper had no chance. It was a good goal, but didn't need him to talk us through it for the entire journey home!!. Well done boys, a good solid game.

20 September 2014: CK 2-1 Winchester Flyers
Our first League game of the season and home debut for our new goalkeeper Evan Harkess. CK settled well early on and dominated possession for much of the first half but with little luck in front of goal. Joe Brown continued to be frustrated by his goal drought and fine saves from the Winchester keeper kept it close. Winchester only really threatened on the break but Captain Harvey Mclean, with Alfie Waters and Justinhio looked very composed at the back. Freddie Horner linked well with Kai Henderson and JJ Chrisp pressed forward on numerous occasions. Winchester started the second half well and a long range effort dipped over Evan Harkess for them to take the lead. CK continued to play passing football and Kai Henderson finished neatly to draw level. Joe Brown found himself withs several chances but it was Freddie Horner who found the winner. Man of the Match went to Nathan Mitchard for a very solid and composed second half performance at left back. His timing was first class, distribution good and unlucky not to find himself on the scoresheet with a great effort topping of an exciting drive forward. Well done boys, a good battling effort.
