CK ANDOVER - Under 15s 2015/16

This season we are looking to improve on last seasons third place finish.The squad is stronger and we have high hopes.

12 December 2015: CK Andover 0 v South Wilts 4
Ckandover under 15s were knocked out of the hants cup 4 -0 by a very strong South Wilts side.Ck started the game well and competed and matched South Wilts for the first period of the game.Rhys Jones came closest to giving CK the lead with a long range shot .With.15 minutes remaining in the first half South Wilts took the lead with a scrappy goal .In the second half CK continued to battle but conceded a 2nd goal from a long wind assisted pass .A third soon followed from a long throw in.Alex Ayres in the CK goal pulled of a string of top class saves but could not prevent South wilts from scoring a fourth sending CK out in the quarter finals for the 2nd year running.

05 December 2015: Shiipton U15s 1 v. CK Andover U15s 4
Ck Andover under 15s progressed into the next round of the league cup with a hard fought victory against previously unbeaten division 2 leaders Shipton.Playing against a gale force wind in the first half Ck fell behind in the first couple of minutes .It took Ck time to adjust to the conditions but once they did they battled back into the game with a goal created from a well constructed passing move finished of by Rhys Jones.In the 2nd half with the wind at there backs Cks constant pressure paid of with the 2nd goal from James Hoyle.Further goals from Sam Clash and Rhys Jones gave Ck a comfortable victory in the end.

14 November 2015: Worthies 2 v Ckandover 8
Ck Andover under 15s progressed into the quarter finals of the hants cup with an 8 - 2 victory over worthies.Ck started well and took the lead with a well struck shot from Connor cousins..Rhys Jones playing his first game upfront scored a well taken hat trick before halftime with James Hoyle completing the scoring after worthies had scored . With a 5-1 lead CK continued to play some outstanding football in the second half and another brace from Rhys Jones and one from Sam clash completed the scoring. Worthies scored once more but all 14 boys who took part in for CK can be proud of a great team performance.

17 October 2015: Ck Andover 0 v Salisbury City 4
Ck Andover under 15s suffered there first defeat of the season when losing 4 - 0 to Salisbury City.Ck started well and were unlucky not to take the lead in the first thirty seconds of the game with a well struck shot from Sam clash.Both teams fought np hard to gain the upper hand in the first half and it was sSalisbury who scored a goal out of nothing. In the second half Ck fought well to get back into the game but an unlucky break gave Salisbury there 2nd goal bouncing in a of a forwards shin .After this Ck could not find a way back into the game and score a goal they throughly deserved. Salisbury scored two more well taken goals to secure ther victory. Ck can hold there heads high getting no reward after playing some really good football .

10 October 2015: CK Andover 6 v Littleton lions 3
Ck Andover under 15s progressed into the 3rd round of the Hampshire cup with a 6 - 3 win over Littleton lions.Ck started well and took the lead after 15 mins with a well struck goal from Sam clash. Littleton fought back and equalised 5 minutes later. Sam clash restored Cks lead with a lob over the advancing goalkeeper.Again Littleton struck back with a goal struck from 30 yards out. Just before half time James Hoyle restored CKs lead with a header from a corner.In the 2nd half Littleton soon equalised. Jack Ardron scored Cks fourth from a corner.It took a well struck free kick from Conor cousins to finally halt another Littleton revival. Jake McGowan completed the scoring with a well taken goal .

03 October 2015: Ck Andover 3 v Lyndhurst 3
Ck Andover under 15s staged a late fight back to gain a welcome point against a good footballing lyndhurst side drawing 3-3.Ck started well and after 12 minutes took the lead with a well placed shot from James Hoyle .Lyndhurst then took the upper hand and equalised with a well constructed goal.Both teams fought to gain the upper hand and just before the break Lyndhurst scored a well taken 2nd goal.In the 2nd half CK pushed for the equaliser but got caught with a long ball over the top for lyndhursts 3rd goal.CK kept battling and got there 2nd with a well struck free kick by Conor cousins.Caleb Swatton completed the comeback with a left footed finish from the edge of the box to give ck a well deserved point.
