21 March 2011: PLAYERS PLAYER VOTES IN
Many thanks to all the players for casting their Player of the Season votes and the excellent reasons given for their choices. Please do not tell anyone who you voted for. The winner has been decided and will be announced at the CK presentation event. Details to be announced.

12 March 2011: CK ANDOVER 1 Sarum Youth 0
What a way to end an exciting eventful season ! Before the match CK spoke about the match against top of the league Sarum Youth being a guide to how far we had come as a team and how far we maybe still had to go. Sarum being in the position that we as a team should be aiming for. We spoke about treating the match as a cup final with nothing to loose but also about commitment and giving 100%. From the first kick to the last all the CK team gave everything they had, an absolute superb performance that really showed what they have achieved as a team this season. The first half saw CK take the game to Sarum and were rewarded when Charlie Hampton hit an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net. George Daykin again leading the CK line well and the back line of Tom Haynes, Liam Ryan, Femi Oduneye, and Matt Blake all defending with confidence. The second half was always going to be hard for CK but they kept hasseling Sarum for every ball. Max Mcgrath keeping his position well in the back line and Jordan Mumford in his new holding role putting in some awesome tackles. The midfield of Niall Kane, James Broadbent, Kyle Fancy, and Charlie Hampton deserve alot of credit for a non stop high work rate performance. Matt Lovering closed down quickly up front and was unlucky not to make it 2-0 with a good run and shot. Player of the match could have gone to anyone but it goes to keeper Edward Farrow who pulled of a number of match winning saves including one world class effort. The final whistle was greeted with a great cheer from the sidelines, and all the players should be extemely proud of themselves for what was a excellent performance and a thoroughly deserved victory against the league leaders. Well done boys.

05 March 2011: Fordingbridge Town 4 CK ANDOVER 1
CK proved today that they are heading in the right direction with a much improved performance. Although losing to 2nd placed Fordingbridge CK led with a goal from Charlie Hampton and matched them in all departments for long spells of the match. At half time CK trailed 2-1 and it was then whoever was going to get the important next goal. CK played much the better football in the opening spells of the second half but again a lapse in concentration enabled Fordingbridge to score. With CK then still pressing, Fordingbridge broke again to make the game safe. A great team effort today with the boys fighting hard in what was a physical match. The defence applying their positional play very well that we had worked on in training and the attacking players all trying to play football and pass the ball quickly and accuratly. Player of the match was centre forward George Daykin for an excellent battling performance.

26 February 2011: Itchen Bulldogs 2 CK ANDOVER 3
Although still playing well below what they are capable of CK made it two wins on the trot with a good away win. Itchen started well and mixed with some poor CK marking led at halftime 2-1. James Broadbent pouncing on a defensive error to score. In the second half CK improved and equalised through a left foot finish from Jord Mumford and soon led when George Daykin produced a good header and pressure that forced a Itchen own goal. Although keeper Edward Farrow never touched the ball in the second half and CK looked in complete control they could never kill the game off but deservedly held on to win. A difficult match for CK where a muddy waterlogged pitch never suited their passing game. CK player of the match was Jord Mumford who led the front line well and always tried to use the ball with some intelligent passing.

05 February 2011: Alderbury 1 CK ANDOVER 6
Although winning very comfortably against a spirited Alderbury team the CK performance was well below the standard set in the previous week. On a bobbly pitch CK struggled with their first touch and couldn't get their passing game going as a result. CK led at halftime through goals from Jord Mumford and Charlie Hampton (2). The second half followed the pattern of the first with CK lacking composure in front of goal as chances came and went. However CK kept going and eventually made the game safe with further goals from James Broadbent and player of the match Charlie Hampton completing his hatrick with another two. So a good win for CK but a performance that shows their is alot to continue working on and improving on at this weeks training session.

29 January 2011: CK ANDOVER 1 Redlynch 2
Before the match the CK squad spoke about passion, about wanting to win, and about making a difference on the pitch by giving 100%. I can honestly say that every player in the squad did that against top of the league Redlynch. CK controlled the first half and derservedly took the lead when Matt Blake swung in a perfect free kick for George Daykin to cooly slot home. The second half saw Redlynch get more into the game but CK matched them in every department. Redlynch finally got the equaliser but CK responded by forcing the Redlynch keeper into two excellent saves and having a good penalty shout turned away. Edward Farrow then produced a world class save when one on one with the Redlynch forward. The last minute saw CK force a corner and pushed numbers into the box looking for the deserved winner only for Redlynch to break at speed and score. A great response from the squad after the dissapointment of the league's points deduction decision. With so many top performances the Player of the Match award goes to the whole squad but special mention to James Broadbent and Tom Haynes who played excellently together in the middle of the CK midfield.
