CK ANDOVER - Under 11s 2012-2013
MATCH REPORTS
16 February 2013: CK Andover 0 Lyndhurst 0
A nail biting match which CK should have won.
From the start CK had the run of the play but could not put enough passes together to trouble the away team.
Lyndhurst were fast on the break and had a couple of efforts well saved by Ben Malden-Gibbins.
The second half was all CK but the ball would not find the back of the net. The one clear chance the visitors had, again produced an excellent save from Ben.
Man of the match went to Ashley and he will captain the side for Saturday's game.
02 February 2013: Supp. Cup - CK Andover 3 vs Worthys 2
The game got off to a slow start for the home team who could not seem to find their rhythm or positions.
Worthys took an early lead and seemed to settle into the game easier than CK.
Worthys were quick on the break and took advantage as the CK defensive were drawn into attacking play. A second goal coming from a well taken shot outside the area.
CK rallied before the end of the half and Layton Tulk scored with a well worked run with Harvey Henly.
A stern talk from the manager at half time inspired the team and it was very much one sided in the second half as CK laid siege to the Worthys goal.
Layton equalised 5 minutes after the restart and CK had further opportunities to finish the game with shots from Jack, Layton Leon and Harvey but all narrowly missing the target.
The CK winner came from Harvey Henly mid way through the second half to put them through to the next round of the cup.
Man of the match and captain for the next game went to Ben Bushell.

12 January 2013: Shipton Bellinger Rams 2 vs CK Andover 10
The weather may have been cold but CK were hot as they took on out of form Shipton.
The first half was dominated by CK and in particular top scoring Layton Tulk who bagged 5 in the first 20 minutes to give CK a convincing half time lead.
The home team never looked like getting back into the game and CK had most of the play with Leon, Harvey and Ben Bushell adding to the score sheet.
However Shipton were quick on the break and a couple of goal line clearances prevented the score from being more evenly matched. The two goals Shipton scored were from good passing moves which opened up the CK defense.
CK remain unbeaten this year - is it the lucky new hats?
