CK U16s were confident and eager for their first game of the season at home to Clarendon.
An early goal from the opposition didn't phase CK and the game continued as if 0-0.
Although 2 further goals from Clarendon before half time left CK on the back foot.
In the second half a very well taken goal from Ethan Benham put the score at 3-1, but a forth from Clarendon seemed to seal the win, with CK looking like admitting defeat.
With 20 minutes left a well struck goal from Will Morton gave a little hope but Clarendon soon responded with a fifth.
A good all round performance on a warm and humid day, just unfortunate not to score the goals needed. Man of the match was Ethan Benham for a hardworking performance, well done, you never gave up and got a well deserved goal.
