CK ANDOVER - under 14 s 2014/15
We are currently playing in the test way under 14s league. Most boys have progressed over the past 7 years and this season we have high hopes off improving on the third position gained last season.Our team sponsors are local company Schaefer who have sponsored us for the third season. 15 November 2014: Clarendon 2 v Ck Andover 4
Ck Andover under 14s sponsored by Schaefer progressed into the last 8 of the league cup with a 4 - 2 victory over a resiliant Clarendon.CK started well with some controlled attacking football and took the lead from a corner scored by Conor cousins. Jake McGowan added a 2nd with a well taken free kick. Just before the break Samuel Griggs slotted home the third. In the 2nd half Clarendon came roaring back and after 25 minutes had pulled it back to 3-2. Ck sealed the victory with a fantastic solo goal from Jake McGowan running the full length of the pitch to slot home.
08 November 2014: Ck Andover 3 v. Fleet Spurs. 2
Ck Andover under 14s sponsored by Schaefer progressed to the quarter finals of the Hampshire cup with a hard fought 3. - 2 victory over a physical fleet Spurs .The game played in very difficult conditions came to life after 5 mins when fleet kicking down the slope took the lead. Soon after fleet doubled there lead from a corner.Ck playing ther first game for three weeks came to life after 20 mins and scored from the penalty spot through jake McGowan.After some good passing involving Rhys Jones ck equalised from a cross from jake McGowan converted by Sam clash.The 2nd half started with ck conceding a penalty but it was saved by man of the match Callum Warmsley.Ck kicking down the slope took the the lead through another penalty converted by jake McGowan. Ck kept pressing missing another penalty and numerous chances to finish deserved winners .
18 October 2014: Ck Andover 2 v Lyndhurst 2
Ck Andover under 14s sponsored by Schaefer played Lyndhurst for the 2nd consecutive week this time in the league fighting out a 2-2 draw. Ck started well and took the lead with a well constructed goal finished well by Sam clash .Lyndhurst fielded a stronger side than the previous week and came back strongly to score twice before half time. In the 2nd half ck came back strongly making some formation and personel changes. Ck equalised with a passing move started by Ozzy hams and finished by Sam clash. Ck pushed for the winner with Rhys Jones coming closest and in the end a draw was a fair result.
11 October 2014: Ck Andover 2 v Lyndhurst 1
Ck Andover under 14s sponsored by Schaefer progressed into the third round of the Hampshire cup with a battling performance against lyndhurst with a 2-1 victory.Ck started well and took the lead after 5 minutes with a 25 yard shot from Jake McGowan.Lyndhurst fought there way back into the game but ck defence lead by the outstanding jack Ardron could not equalise. In the 2nd half kicking down the slope ck had some great chances to increase there lead but lyndhurst equalised from a swift counter attack.The game looked to be heading for penalties until a corner flicked on by jack Ardron was bundled into the net by Conor cousins to give ck there first victory over lyndhurst for three seasons.
04 October 2014: Ck Andover 6 v Littleton leopards 1
Ck Andover under 14 s sponsored by Schaefer gained there 2nd league victory of the season with a convincing 6 -1 victory over Littleton leopards.ck started slowly and fell behind to a breakaway goal from there own corner .Soon ck started to find ther stride and equalised with a 25 yard screamer from Sam clash .jake McGowan gave ck the lead before halftime .In the 2nd half going down the slope ck overpowered ther opposition with some great passing and finishing scoring four times through Sam clash Jake mcgowan. 27 September 2014: Clarendon 0 v Ck andover 3
Ck andover under 14s sponsored by Schaefer gained there first victory of the season in ther opening game beating a stubborn Clarendon side 3 nil.Ck started quickly and took 30 minutes to open the scoring through Rhys jones after a well flighted free kick by Callum Warmsley.Soon after Jake Mcgowan scored direct from a free kick.In the 2 nd half Clarendon battled bravely but could not convert several chances. Jake McGowan sealed the points with another well taken free kick.
