What a brilliant season finishing third in the table, while also giving every team in the league a really good run for their money. Well done lads good job.

05 October 2013: Shooters v CK Andover

CK kept up their impressive start to the season with a fairly good disciplined display. The first half saw CK have more possession and created some good chances but were unable to break the deadlock. CK put the Shooters defence under some good pressure and Josh Viney had a good shot well saved. Louis Shinton returned to his old club and put in a good midfield display but the half finished 0-0. The second half went the same way as CK pushed for the breakthrough and were unlucky not to get it when Callum Leach put Ciaran Smith through on goal only for his shot to be well saved. CK kept pressing and got their reward with a messy goal, which saw Callum Leach's shot deflected in off the unlucky Shooters keeper. CK did keep pressing and were unlucky not to get more goals from Ciaran and Sam Lees both going close. Shooters did have a couple of chances, but after a minor wobble the defensive wall of Ben Hewlett and Ronan Houghton stood firm. A good all round display with CK starting to show some good passing and teamwork. Man of the Match was awarded to Callum Leach.

An evenly contested first half of few real chances saw the half time score at 0-0. There was an improvement in the CK passing and some good play from Sammy Morely in the early stages of the second half. As his shot came back off the crossbar Callum Leach smashed in the rebound 5 minutes in. Again possession was even and Sam Lees handled in the CK penalty area and Shipton were awarded a penalty which was well saved by Tyler Aldridge. Shipton did however equalize with about 10 minutes to go with a rasping drive from outside the box from Daniel M. With 3 minutes remaining CK were awarded a free kick just outside the box which Callum Leach tucked away nicely to cap off his Man of the Match display. A good hard working performance from an improving CK team. Well done lads.
21 September 2013: CK Andover v Porton
Porton 2 - 1 CK Andover
The lads were having some great link up play from defence right through midfield on a fantastic Porton Pitch.
despite early CK pressure Porton forced a corner late in the first half which resulted in a deflected near post Goal.
Half time ended 1-0
It took both teams a little time to settle into the 2nd half, but 10mins in saw some great passing from Ben hewlett to Ronan Houghton opening up the Porton defence for Callum Leach to slot a fine pass through to Josh Viney to take his 1st goal of the season in good style.
with CK looking like they were going to take the game from there they faced a Porton break away, with some excellent passing lead to Porton going 2-1 up. Unfortunaley even after more good passing Ck just could manage to get that second goal, with the match finishing 2-1 to Porton.

Unlucky result lads, but it shows that Darren's hard work at training is rubbing off on you.

What a great start to the season, right from the off the boys put the travelling Hatch Warren team under great pressure with the whole team putting in some good link up play.
The First of four coming after some good passing around the edge of the box and Callum Leach finishing in good style.

Right from the kick off the second goal came from putting pressure on which lead to an own goal.
Wow what can i say about the third goal apart from a great toe punt from half way by Ronan Houghton!!! one to remember.
last but certainly not least Callum Leach put a cracking cross in from the right which was to hot for the keeper to handle going in in the bottom corner.
A real great team effort with top performances including Man Of The Match Ben Hewlett.
