13 October 2012: CK Andover 10 vs Shipton Bellinger Rams 1
Well what a difference a week makes!

CK were back to winning ways and never looked like losing from the start of this match.
Harvey Henley gave the home team an early goal which seemed to settle them down and set the tone for the rest of the game.
Layton Tulk added another couple shortly after and a second for Harvey Henley gave CK a comfortable lead at half time.
An inspiring half time team talk and some deft substitutions by the manager spurred the team on and gave Layton the opportunity to add another four goals and Harvey his second hatrick of the season. Ben Bushell also added to the total.
A strong defensive performance only gave one clear opportunity for the visitors which they took for a consolation goal.
A great all round team performance from CK this week which already has the parents planning for the next round of the cup and Leon takes the captain's armband for the game against Clarendon.

06 October 2012: Braishfield Bees 7 v CK Andover 1
A bright crisp morning was about the highlight of the trip to Braishfield.
CK never really got into the game and were soon 2 down within the first 10 minutes.
All the play seemed to be in the centre of the pitch and Braishfield capitalised on this with some good breaks down the wings, taking a 5 goal lead into the break.
CK made some defensive substitutions at half time and rallied a little in the second half. Andy Bullis scored from a long range strike but Braishfield came out worthy winners on the day.
CK man of the match went to Layton Tulk.

29 September 2012: Lyndhurst 0 v CK Andover 1
A lovely morning on CK's first outing to Lyndhurst for the U11s.
A great game for the spectators with end to end action in both halves.
CK took an early lead through Layton Tulk - making it 3 goals in 3 matches.
CK kept a strong defense and there were some great saves from Ben Malden-Gibbins.
An outstanding game for Owen Crowe earned him man of the match and the captain's arm band for next week

22 September 2012: Barton Stacey 3 vs CK Andover 1
Barton started well with a goal within the first few minutes.
CK rallied mid way through the first half and a goal from Layton Tulk evened the scoring at half time.
CK lacked their passing game and despite several good saves from Ben Malden-Gibbens, Barton added another two goals to end the game deserved winners.
CK man of the match went to Oliver Smith for strong defensive work.

15 September 2012: CK Andover 6 Shipton Bellinger Rams 2
CK Andover 6 Shipton Bellinger Rams 2

A great start to the league season for CK.
Two early goals from Harvey Henley helped to settle the team and they continued with some excellent passing football and strong defensive work.
Layton Tulk scored from the penalty spot and Ben Bushell added a fourth to give CK a strong lead at the break.
In the second half Harvey Henley scored again to give himself a well deserved hatrick and Ben Bushell added number six from a long run up the right wing.
Shipton rallied in the last 10 minutes and earned themselves a goal from the penalty spot and another from open play in the last few minutes. A valiant effort despite having no substitutes to field in the match.
CK man of the match went to Layton Tulk for excellent positional play and strong running.

12 September 2012: Friendly against New Street
A great full squad turn-out gave CK Andover U11s their first game together as a team on the full sized pitch at Barrow Hill. An even start to the first half with all players giving 100% and with Ben Malden Gibbins playing an outstanding game with some superb shot stopping saves but unfortunately found CK trailing 2-0 after 20 minutes. Layton Tulk then scored his first CK goal just before half time to make it 2-1. No more than the team deserved after the effort they had all put in.
The 2nd half kicking down should have been easier and with plenty of possession and good passing football, CK could have easily levelled the score, but with some good goal keeping from New Street they were denied. New Street caught us on the counter-attack and scored a further 2 goals. Final score 4-1 win to New Street.
The score does not reflect the effort put in by all the players, so well done to everyone. Looking forward to the next match.
