13 April 2013: CK 4-0 Tidworth Titans
Three superb footballing moves and three classy finishes effectively won this game in the first half, despite a determined and physically strong Tidwoth side never giving up on the game. Spectators were still taking their places as Jamie Ross and Kial Mumford played a delightful one-two, Kial then playing the ball into the box for Jamie to stroke the ball into the net. One nil, seconds played, quality football. A strong Tidworth always looked likely to trouble CK, but 5 minutes on, Joe Brown pushed the ball along the edge of the box, found a yard and slotted home, cool finish. CK pressed on and played their best passing football, Kai Henderson and Kial Mumford dominating midfield and linking well to find Joe Brown in space, Joe firing home confidently with his left. Despite the 3 nil lead at half time, Tidworth looked fired up and CK had to maintain a good work ethic to keep them out. Kial Mumford wrapped up proceedings when his long range effort whizzed past Joe Brown and the unsighted keeper. Man of the Match went to Lee Nicholson for a faultless performance, fabulous kicking, solid handling and looking every bit CKs No.1. Well done Lee, and the boys, lets keep the pressure on and make Clatford work for it!!

13 April 2013: Friendly.....CK 2-9 Tidworth Titans
CK struggled to get into their stride today, and a still determined Tidworth showed no signs of tiredness despite most of the team playing in the first game. The team stuck to the game plan, trying to pass and move and created several goalscoring opportunities, Owen MacGregor and Ben Cousins going close in the first half. Lucy Ladd impressed with some strong tackles and thoughtful passing and Ben Hewlett was his usual energetic self, breaking up several Tidworth moves. Sam Churchill had another solid game, blasting in a goal from just inside the box, keeper had no chance. Justinhio was excellent today, good movement and tackling well throughout the game. Man of the Match Alfie Waters also grabbed a goal after playing the first half in goal. Well done guys, never give up attitude was a credit to the club.

06 April 2013: CK 6-0 Lyndhurst..........Supplementary Cup Semi Final
CK were rarely troubled by our visitors today and comfortably secured a place in the Supplementary Cup Final. Well done to all the squad who've played a part in getting CK to its first Cup Final. A hatrick by Harvey Wake, 2 for Joe Brown and and a super finish from Man of the Match Kial Mumford wrapped up a comfortable win. New boy Sam Churchill settled in quickly on his debut in defence, his confidence growing particularly in the second game. Harvey McLean had a tremendous game today narrowly missing the Man of the Match trophy, his timing and tackling first class. Lee Nicholson performed well again for another clean sheet. CK play Winchester Flyers in the final, 3.30pm kick off at New Street, Saturday 27th April.

05 January 2013: Porton 1-1 CK
Well, the break over Christmas did nothing for our game!! A sluggish CK never really got into gear today, and a determined and well organised Porton posed a real threat, despite being very lucky to take the lead. After 10 minutes of fairly even football in the first half, an uncharacteristic defensive mix up gave Porton the lead................the less said the better! Jamie Ross had another excellent game, passing and moving with confidence and linking up well with Joe Brown. CKs equaliser coming from such a move, Joe Brown firing in a shot from wide right, Jamie prodding it home after the keeper failed to hold the ball. Our usually dominant and imaginative midfield could nt quite get things moving and a second half followed, much the same as the first, both sides creating opportunities with some excellent defending. Man of the Match Ben Hewlett was superb today. Great levels of concentration, composure when picking up the ball with space and time, and some excellent last ditch tackles to clear the danger. Lee Nicholson looked solid in the second half and Harvey Mclean is proving his worth to the team with another good all round game. A fair result today. An in-form Bishops Waltham visit us next week.

05 January 2013: Friendly.....Porton 3-2 CK
CK once again took some time to get things moving and after a fairly even start, Porton created three goalscoring opportunities in a row, netting each time. Lucy Ladd produced some steady passing football and Owen MacGregor battled hard up front, much of the time alone, throughout the first half. Joe Brown and Harvey Wake took up defensive positions for this game and although looking uncertain at times, did produce some excellent tackles and tried to distribute the wall quickly to our midfield. Despite losing 3-0 at half time, CK had some possession and the game was far from over. CK came out fighting in the second half and soon saw some reward for their efforts. Ben Cousins picked up the ball on the left side, just outside the box (some good passing from midfield), looked up, and smashed the ball into the far right of the goal! A contender for goal of the season for sure!......3-1. CK got into their stride and Ben Cousins had two further chances, after some excellent passing involving Owen McGregor, Lucy Ladd and Harry Baker. A confident Ben Cousins added his second minutes later, a slick finish to make it 3-2 but despite huge efforts CK couldn't secure the equaliser. Man of the Match............Ben Cousins....a terrific display off the back of some continued improvement all round. Well done lads...............and Lucy!

15 December 2012: CK 4-2 Lyndhurst
CK reshuffled the formation owing to numerous injuries and sickness as visitors Lyndhurst arrived to play on a very heavy (but playable) surface. Harvey McLean stepped up to keep goal, Ben Hewlett shored up the defence and Harvey Wake pushed up for a spell in midfield. As is customary for our home games, CK were slow to start, Lyndhurst looking very hungry and taking an early lead. Kial Mumford and Harvey Wake ensured CK had plenty of possession but is was almost the end of the first half before Jamie Ross and Joe Brown linked up, a short pass and Jamie blasting the ball into the net ending the move. A half time team talk encouraging the boys to dig in and grind out a result (Lyndhurst looked well up for the challenge) seemed to pay dividends, a neat move early in the second half ended with Joe Brown firing in hard from close range. Lyndhurst rallied hard and soon found an equaliser in what was a very competitive game. CK stepped up a further gear and began some assured and quick passing, moving the ball around well. Jamie Ross earned CK the lead with a superb strike, from a difficult angle stretching the roof of the net.......3-2 and definate contender for goal of the season. Not wanting to be outdone, Joe Brown picked up a smart Kial Mumford pass for a terrific solo effort, taking on several players and shooting high into the top right hand corner. A great result against a determined Lyndhurst side on a day when CK struggled to get into top gear. Alfie Waters and Ben Cousins made solid appearances as sub, Ben Hewlett put in some fine tackles but Kial Mumford looked to be returning to his best earning Man of the Match. Harvey McLean also performed well, making two very important saves as the sides were level.
