09 November 2013: Barton Stacey 4 vs CK Andover 2
A horrid rainy day saw CK make a trip to Barton.

Not ideal conditions for football and they helped in Barton taking the lead from a fee kick which deflected off a CK player.
CK got back level from a penalty just before half time through Layton Tulk but Barton went into the break 2-1 up.
The second half was dominated by Barton breaks from deep in their half which seemed to leave the CK mid field stranded. Barton added a third mid half and Ben Bushell pulled it back to 3-2 with a strong run down the right side.
It was not going to be CK's day and Barton added a fourth shortly before the final whistle.

19 October 2013: CK Andover 1 vs Clarendon Juniors 3
CK Andover 1 - Clarendon Juniors 3

CK's shaky start continues as they let 3 points slip to the visitors for a second week.

The first half was an even matched contest with both sides content to keep the ball in the middle of the pitch.
Early in the second half CK were awarded a penalty for a hand ball which Layton Tulk converted easily.

This seemed to wake up the visitors who found the net with three very soft goals to run out convincing winners.

05 October 2013: CK Andover FC 0 vs Braishfield 8
CK Andover 0-8 Braishfield

Not much to write about in this tie with top of the table Braishfield, I think the score speaks volumes.

CK did not seem to be awake from the start of the game and a lack lustre performance had them 4 goals down at the interval.
The front players could not seem to find a pass and a ragged back four could not stop the Braishfield attack from adding another four to run out convincing winners.

28 September 2013: Tidworth Tigers 0 vs CK Andover 7
Tidworth Tigers 0-7 CK Andover FC

First win of the season for CK saw them face a Tidworth side in the process of being rebuilt.

CK were in form from the off and a fine headed first goal was taken by Olly Smith. Harvey Henley and Layton Tulk (2)added another 3 goals to put the visitors up by 4 goals at half time.

A reminder of the previous weeks' comeback set CK off to a nervous start and Tidworth found some space through the centre of the pitch. Ben Malden-Gibbins in goal for CK produced some fine saves to keep a clean sheet on the day.

A further two goals from Layton and a solo run from Ben Bushell put the game beyond doubt and CK ran out easy winners.

A strong defensive performance from Jacob earned him man of the match and the captain's armband for Saturday's game.

The result moves CK up to 5th in the U12 Div 1.

21 September 2013: West Harnham FC 5 vs CK Andover 4
First league match of the season had CK away to newly promoted West Harnham.

Definitely a game of two halves - the first saw CK dominate the pitch with some excellent runs down the wings and tidy football at the back.
Some well worked moves were awarded with goals by Layton Tulk, Harvey Henley and Ben Bushell giving the visitors a comfortable lead at the interval.

The second half was a completely different game!
With only one change at half time CK seemed to lose shape and touch on the ball.
The home side took advantage and ran in 4 simple goals to take the lead.
With 5 minutes to go Ben Bushell equalised for CK but the lead was short lived and West Harnham finished the game 5-4 winners.

14 September 2013: Hants Cup Round 1 - CK Andover 0 vs Locksheath Lions Youth 6
First match of the season saw CK take on Locksheath Lions in the Hampshire Cup.

Playing on a full size pitch with full size goals, CK soon found themselves struggling to contain the visitors.
Excellent saves from Ben Malden-Gibbins kept the Lions at bay for a short time but CK were two down at half time.
Playing up hill in the second half and with only one sub, CK's fitness began to tell and the visitors added another 4 goals to finish convincing winners and progress to the next round of the cup.
