12 November 2011: Worthys vs CK
A match that CK couldn't find their usual rhythm and cutting edge in! A very determined Worthys side who hadn't yet secured a point were up for it and their confidence grew by the minute as CK struggled to find their form of late. An evenly matched first half saw a 0-0 scoreline at half time, whilst CK weren't troubled at the back, Jamie Ross and Justin Fryatt looking very assured. 2 outstanding saves from the Worthys goalie denied first Harvey Wake from a goal from close range and later Joe Brown. In the second half Worthys goalie continued his fine display with 2 further cracking saves and Worthys went 1 nil up. Pressure from CK, who briefly dominated the game saw Kai Henderson slot home from close range to draw level and Harvey Wake forced the ball over the line to take CK 2-1 up. A fine Worthys free kick enabled them to draw level and they pressed hard with several long range efforts. Joe Brown missed an absolute sitter with 5 minutes to go (I couldn't speak to him for the journey home!!) and Worthys were delighted to secure the point. A disappointing day for CK, but a great atmosphere as always at Worthys. Jamie Ross earned himself Man of the Match with a very mature, solid performance at the back, he didn't put a foot wrong!! Well done Jamie!

12 November 2011: Worthys vs CK (Development League)
Lucy Ladd captained the side this week and stepped up to the mark, hassling the opposition midfield and playing some sensible and simple football when she had possession. Again, a confident Worthys pressed hard and took the lead midway through the first half. Stand in goalkeeper Harvey Wake insistent that the sun in his eyes prevented the save...........a likely story Harvey!!! Close battling football ensued but then a moment of brilliance. Alfie Waters went on a dazzling run, losing the ball and regaining possession at least twice as he weaved his way through the box to fire home, a superb finish!. In the second half, Alfie Waters again proving he was on fire today as another solo run into the box from the right saw him slot the ball into the bottom left hand corner, an outstanding finish. 2-1 CK! Worthys weren't done and soon equalised with a nice move, 2-2 all it finished. Harvey Mcleen impressed at the back but Ben Hewlett earned a well deserved Man of the Match, awesome display and he ran so much he could hardly lift the trophy!! Nice one Ben!

15 October 2011: CK vs Tidworth Typhoons
OMG!.......its a Macleen sheet!!! CKs green giant, goalkeeper Harvey Macleen kept his first clean sheet of the season whilst the boys up front were keeping themselves very busy. Joe Brown slotted home from a superb through ball from left back Jamie Ross after only 2 minutes and Kial Mumford made it 2 nil with a tap in minutes later. Good shape and some excellent attacking football gave Joe Brown his second, but only after real determination to regain possession twice in the box to fire home. Another slick move, Kial Mumford making it 4 nil and left midfield player Kai Henderson neatly finishing for CKs fifth. Joe Brown made it 6 nil before the break with a cool finish, outside of the foot!.
Typhoons showed great spirit, never giving up but Kai Henderson found the bottom corner minutes into the second half. Assured defending from Jamie Ross and Justin Fryatt allowed CKs midfield to dominate, Kial grabbing 2 more, a terrific long range shot and another whipped in from close range. Joe brought his tally to 6, finally finding his left foot, another after picking up a Harvey Wake pass and the goal of the game after a 6 pass CK move. Joe Brown collected Man of the Match, but a fabulous effort from the whole team, 12-0 the result.

15 October 2011: CK vs Tidworth Typhoons (Development League)
Whilst Typhoons pressed hard right from the whistle, CK were well involved in the game, despite the visitors scoring twice early in the first half. Ben Cousins continues to improve his game with some strong tackling and Harry Baker made some impressive tackles and interceptions to keep the score at 2 nil until Typhoons added a third just before half time. Ben Hewlett, was awesome throughout, strong tackling, neat skills to take on the opposition but always looking up to play some accurate football to a yellow shirt. Alfie Waters, playing up front alone made the most of his time on the ball and picked up a well deserved goal midway through the second half. CK were settling as the game progressed but couldn't find the net, Typhoons adding a fourth late on. Jake Bradbury went close after hitting the crossbar and then firing over the crossbar..........all from 3 yards!!.........next time Jake!!. Sam Mcreedy played his best football of the season, but Ben Hewlett collected Man of the Match for an all round first class effort. It finished 4-1 to Typhoons.

08 October 2011: CK vs Worthys
A shaky first half despite a well taken opening goal from Skipper (and birthday boy!) Kial Mumford to take an early lead. Worthys took advantage of some dreadful marking from CK to level the game and finished well with a second to take the lead. Joe Brown finished excellently to draw level but a further mix up in defence gave goalkeeper Harvey Mcleen little chance to prevent Worthys adding a 3rd to go into half time 3-2 up. After losing Harvey Wake through injury, Jamie Ross deputised at the back and gave us a solid back line with Justin Fryatt also upping the tempo. Our impressive passing play kicked in after a close 5 minutes, Worthys looking for their first win of the season, Kial Mumford and Joe Brown both getting their second goals as we took the lead. CK went on to dominate the remainder of the half, Kai Henderson adding a further goal and Alfie Waters slotting home from close range. Man of the Match went to Kai Henderson for an awesome display of mature football and excellent passing.
