10 December 2016: Tidworth Tornadoes 2-3 CK Andover (Zac, Hamish, Callum)
A good dogged effort by the boys today. I was down a few players in key area's which makes today result even more pleasing. Zac put us 1 up with a good long range effort
before hamish took a long range effort which found the net. Tidworth hit back, tom dived to save and gathered the ball back but the ref gave it even though it didn't cross the line!
We extended our lead to 3-1 with Callum netting well before a defensive error made it
2-3, but to be fair CK never looked like loosing and could've added further goals if it wasn't for great saves by their keeper.
Charlie was a rock at the back today and deserves a massive well done, thanks to tom for playing out of position in goal and well done all on a good solid team performance.

03 December 2016: CK Andover 1-4 Whitchurch United (Zac)
CK fell to two defeats on the trot for the first time after a poor overall team display.
Credit to Whitchurch though who passed the ball well and created space in and around our defence. It was 0-1 at HT, a scrappy goal looped in. CK didn't really get going and went 0-2 down early in the second half, with an unfortunate deflected goal.
Zac reduced the deficit to 1-2 with a well taken goal, probably his hardest opportunity of the day!
Whichurch went 1-3 and effectively killed the game with another defected goal!, then late on they made it 1-4.
My highlights....Hugh Coomer had some good spells at the back despite the scoreline today and Kaan was one of few to pass the ball well.

26 November 2016: CK Andover 2-4 Woolton Hill Argyle(Callum, own goal)
It was a lesson learned today as CK got off to a slow start and unfortunately paid the
the price as we went 0-2 early through defensive indecision.
Some good chances fell to CK but it didn't seem to want to go in for us, and a clear penalty decision was turned down. We fell further behind to 0-4, through not dealing with the ball in the box and an unfortunate own goal. Callum got us back in it to 1-4 after good work by Zac, then a penalty which the keeper saved which could've made a difference, but we kept going and made it 2-4 with a deflected cross went in for an own goal.
A 'below par' performance which both the boys and parents were made aware of.
My bright spot today was Bon's dogged display and jack's wonder save!
.... dissapointing day but that's football! - next week we are determined to get back to a stronger performance.

19 November 2016: Andover Shooters 0-3 CK Andover CUP (Kaan, Bon, Tom)
Our last game in the cup saw us run out worthy winners today. We always looked strong defensively with Kaan and Hugh providing a 'wall' in defence. We led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a long range free kick from Kaan, which typified his overall 'captains' display, his best game for CK, just as pleasing was his partner Hugh who remained solid throughout. The introduction of Thomas in the second half provided more problems for Shooters and Zac's unselfish link play was always a threat, as Bon danced through to smash in the second. The win was rounded off with a well taken free-kick from Thomas to make it 3-0.
Our first clean sheet of the season too which our keeper Jack deserved for his continuous consistent displays. Excellent work rate today boys!
A well rounded team performance from all the boys.

12 November 2016: CK Andover 3-1 Clarendon Whites (Tom(2), Zac)
It was a wet cold day at barrow hill but CK produced a good display of football at times.
We took the lead when a good slide pass from Zac found Tom in space who finished low left of the goal. We added to our advantage soon after when a free kick was executed perfectly by tom to make it 2-0. Indecision in defence caused panic as Jack couldn't pick the ball up and his clearance cannoned off a Clarendon player to make it 2-1 at half time.
Despite the setback we started the second half strongly, and a brilliant passing move from Andrey, Harry and Charlie set Zac free to lash home a third in the top left corner of the net. Some crucial saves by Jack kept the final score to 3-1.
Well played today boys!!
I would like to mention Harry, Charlie for listening and turning around previous errors into some positive football, especially that wonderful move for the last goal.

05 November 2016: CK Andover 3-2 South Wonston Swifts - (Cup) - Callum(2),Jack
What a cup tie at barrow hill today! Cold conditions but the boys put 100% effort in and came away with a win which in fairness either side could've had.
South Wonston took the lead through hesitation at the corner before CK equalised 1-1 just before half time after good work by Zac which created a chance for Callum to score.
We then took the lead 2-1 when Jack's long goal kick seem to go straight in though Zac caused problems in the South Wonston defence. Again the game levelled 2-2 through another corner not being cleared before CK claimed victory when Callum headed in the winner with a precise header.
The whole team did a good job today however a special mention to Hugh at centre back as we looked more solid with him back.
