22 October 2016: Winchester City Flyers 2-2 CK Andover
What a game here today! We had a change at GK with Jack having to go in due to Bon's sprained finger, Zac had an asthma attack and there was a penalty chucked in too!
Winchester looked neat and tidy and got a goal up just before half time, CK had some half chances but the scoreline went with the run of play. In the second half though CK hit back and were on top, Zac looping in a half volley for 1-1 then a penalty converted by Zac for 1-2. Chances went begging for CK after but Winchester struck late after great blocks and saves by Jack to make it 2-2. Probably a fair scoreline overall with each team having good spells in both halfs. It was great to see Hugh back today after illness who was solid and Bon had a terrific game winning the 50/50 balls. Everyone in truth deserved praise, a true CK fighting spirit with only 8(and for a while 7) fit players to choose from.

14 October 2016: Whitchurch United 6-1 CK Andover(Zac)
A disappointing morning of football for CK. The team didn't perform and soon found ourselves 2-0 down. We clawed our way back into the game with Zac scoring low as the ball squirmed under the keepers body to make it 2-1,it was 3-1 at h/t through a defensive error.
However the brief comeback was a false dawn as Whitchurch ran out worthy winners 6-1.
One bright spot for CK was the emergence of Charlie who despite his unlucky own goal was always showing spirit and the right attitude on the pitch.
Next week we go again and hope to improve and show a more committed performance.

08 October 2016: Andover Shooters 1-5 CK Andover(Zac 2, Callum 2, Kaan)
A very good display from CK this morning. We took the lead mid way through the first half when Zac thundered in a shot which flew into the roof of the net. Shooters equalised when a hopeful punt up field looped over Bon's head. Callum came into the game at half time and quickly restored our lead latching onto a Zac pass. There was good work down the flanks from Harry throughout the game and Jack was commanding in defence winning the 50/50 balls. CK added a third with Zac flashing in after hesitation in shooters defence. Callum rounded his good second half with a close range effort, before Kaan jinxed through to add a fifth.
A very good defensive and breaking display, Harry deserves credit for his work put in down the flanks and Jack was leading by example today. Excellent result boys!

01 October 2016: Fordingbridge 10-0 CK Andover(cup)
A disappointing day for CK, unfortunately it was an off day for all the team. We didn't get into our passing game and were without some key players however credit to some individuals for their determination despite things not running for us.
It was a very good Fordingbridge team we played today so credit to them, however we did help them along the way with some poor defending.
A well done to Kauri!....getting his first goal for CK in the 2-1 development game defeat, and when he came on in the cup game and in the development game he showed a lot of heart and spirit, which as a team was lacking generally.
Despite the score line Bon in goal actually did all he could and did some good saves, but was exposed too often.
It's a learning curve today which I know the boys are eager to put right next week!

24 September 2016: CK Andover 7-2 Tidworth Tornadoes(Thomas Warwick 3, Callum Shepherd 2, Kaan Bilgic 2)
Brilliant attacking performance from CK today. We started strong and soon took the lead with Callum getting one of his two goals, shooting low in the corner. Debutante - Kaan added a second smashing home the rebound from striker Zac's shot. Thomas added a third poking home, before Kaan added another, tapping in from close range, and we made it 5 with Callum running in and sliding home the loose ball. Tidworth were fortunate to get a consolation before half-time when Giannis unfortunately got an Own goal but could do little about it. CK were still dominant however Tidworth grabbed another consolation, although keeper Bon got a touch on it. Thomas rounded off a good hat-trick in the second half with two left foot efforts from outside the box one of which squirmed under the keeper and was fortuitous. Good to see the boys attacking so confidently and credit goes to Hugh at the back for his performance, and Kaan's debut was immense and Charlie's at the back looked confident.

17 September 2016: CK Andover U10 3-3 Woolton Hill Argyle(Cup) (Zac McGregor 2, Callum Shepherd)
CK Andover U10 3-3 Woolton Hill Argyle
Pulsating cup game today at barrow hill!
CK fell 2-0 down through some defensive errors and decisive finishing from Woolton. Zac broke through to latch onto a through ball from Jack Pipkin and whipped past the keeper making it 1-2, Woolton then stunned us with a long range effort that deceived our keeper Bon, crucially we hit back just before half-time, Giannis placed a perfect ball down the channel, Thomas hit his shot well which was parried by the keeper and zac was there to tap in (2-3). Second half we were dominant!, and set siege to their goal finally being rewarded with winger Callum Shepherd heading home to cheers from the 'home'parents.... A well deserved draw in the end, but the clock just beat us before we could win it! - Great character boys!
